The existing timber villa is currently under construction with a modern extension being built to the rear of the property, designed by Jose Gutierrez Architects. The garden proposal is in two parts, a recasting of the front garden and a new pool garden and dining terrace at the rear of the house.
The rear garden wraps around the house in an 'L' shape, the western part being the pool garden and the northern part a long timber terrace adjoining the kitchen and living room of the house.
The front garden is centred on a square of lawn providing space for play. Planting surrounding the lawn will include a mix of topiary and perennials to complement a selection of the existing species of cacti to be retained.
The work is currently underway with planting expected in Spring 2017.
